ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Stephens College head soccer coach Lance Gordon announced the addition of Taylor Bresnan, a center midfielder from Lindbergh High School, to the Stars’ roster for 2017-18.
“Taylor is that field general that on and off the field will take charge,” stated Gordon. “With her experience playing at the highest levels, she will always have something useful and encouraging to say. She makes the people around her better and they want to play better because she’s that upbeat, outgoing person… a natural leader.”
Taylor is a four-year varsity player at Lindbergh. She was also a captain and a standout for the Lou Fusz-Angels, a premier club team based out of St. Louis, Mo., and helped lead the team to the State Cup finals.
Taylor chose Stephens because she believes the school will set her up for a great future and give her a wide variety of opportunities.
When asked what she most looks forward to at Stephens, Taylor said, “meeting new people and making a new family on the soccer team.”
Taylor, the daughter of Jami Rees and Bob Bresnan, plans to major in health sciences at Stephens. She looks to become a physician assistant or a nurse anesthetist following graduation.
