2014-15 – Registered new career bests in kills, attempts, assists and digs in 2014…In the Stars’ five-set win over Bethany at the Avila University Tournament, Nasimiyu notched career-highs in kills (15), attempts (40) and digs (16)…Had two of her most efficient nights against ranked opponents, hitting .444 (4 kills, 0 errors) against No. 5 Columbia and .364 (5 kills, 1 error) vs. Park in the AMC Tournament Quarterfinals…Finished the season among the team’s top-five in kills (4th), digs (5th), blocks (5th) and points (4th).

2013-14 – Saw action in all 30 matches and 103 total sets…Played primarily at outside hitter, but also filled in at middle hitter…Led the team in service aces with 26 on the season…Ranked among the Stars’ top five players in kills (4th), assists (4th), digs (4th) and blocks (5th)…Had double-digit kills in matches against Benedictine (Kan.), William Woods and Benedictine-Springfield (Ill.)...Registered a career-high 11 kills at home vs. William Woods…Had a breakout game against Midway with eight kills and five service aces.

High School – Began at Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, Ind., and played on varsity as a sophomore in 2011…She then moved to St. Louis, Mo., where she attended Fort Zumwalt East High School and played varsity under head coach Michael Loyd…When her mother, Rose Obunaga, accepted the head coach position at Stephens College, Nasimiyu made the move to Columbia and played her senior year at Rock Bridge High School, helping the Bruins to a 16-10-1 overall record…Played club volleyball at Central Missouri VBC 17 and H2 Saint Louis.
