KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Stephens College tennis players Aleesa Wolf and Jada Kyle were placed on the 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes list on Friday morning, announced by the NAIA National Office.

"Placing student-athletes on the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete lists is always a point of pride for our athletics department," stated Director of Athletics Adam Samson. "To get to this point, these upperclassmen have consistently performed at a high level academically while juggling the tough and time-consuming demands of a collegiate student-athlete. We are so proud of these Stars and how they represent our athletics program and institution both in the classroom and on the field of play."

Wolf, a senior from Moberly, Mo., graduated on May 6 with a Bachelor's of Science in event & convention management. Kyle, a junior from Jackson, Tenn., is majoring in dance.

The Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete programs recognize excellence in the classroom by NAIA-member student-athletes who are juniors or above in academic standing with a 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student must appear on the eligibility certificate for two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
