The Stars easily earned three points off defaults in the first match. One win by default came from the number three doubles and two came from the number five and six singles slots.

Starting with doubles play, the Jada Kyle (JR/Jackson, Tenn.) and Eden Crane (FR/Columbia, Mo.) duo won their match with a close 9-8 (7-5) win. In the number two slot, Allex Looper (FR/Beaver, Okla.) and Aleesa Wolf (SR/Moberly, Mo.) won their fourth match of the season together with an 8-2 victory.

LUB won their only point in the number two singles, defeating Crane 6-1, 6-1.

In the second match of the day, Kyle and Crane won the only sets for the Stars in the number one doubles slot. Despite the 8-2 loss, the match was much closer than the score shows as each and every point was a battle for both teams.
